Freiluftkino Kreuzberg in the courtyard of the Kunstquartier Bethanien

Opened in 1994, Freiluftkino Kreuzberg is one of the oldest open-air-cinemas in Berlin and has a long-standing tradition. There is a great variety of movies in the program and digital screenings the norm.

We aim to present true world cinema and where possible we present foreign films in original versions with German subtitles and German films with English subtitles.

Online tickets are available for all screenings and grant direct access to the cinema. (payment via Paypal with or without account or German direct pay: „Sofort Überweisung“). To purchase online tickets just click on the button that you find in our program.

Adress The Freiluftkino Kreuzberg is located near Kottbusser Tor U-Bahnstation, in the courtyard of Kunstquartier Bethanien on Mariannenplatz.

Weather the screening takes place on all weather conditions.

Doors open 30 minutes before showtime

Advance Booking Please use the “Online Ticket” tab alongside the title of the film to access our excellent advance booking system. All tickets are also available from our box office. It opens 30 minutes before the performance is scheduled to begin on any given evening and stays open for 40 minutes after the performance has begun.

Multi-Show tickets can be bought online or at the box office. Ticket vouchers can only be bought online.

Berlin-Pass Berlin Social Pass (Berechtigungsnachweis BN) – reduced price 5 €. The BN or  VBB Kundenkarte Berlin S needs to presented at the entrance.

Smoking: Smoking is unhealthy.
We kindly ask that, during the movie, you only smoke at the edge of the site. Please use an ashtray.
Smoking of Joints is in no case permitted in the seating area.

Dogs can only be brought if they are on a leash.

FSK (Voluntary Self-Regulation of the German Film Industry) apply. (age rating).
