Mascha Schilinski film tells the story of four women whose lives are mysteriously intertwined. Alma, Erika, Angelika, and Nelly come from different eras, yet all of them spent their childhood or youth at the same secluded four-sided farmstead in the Altmark region. As the women navigate their respective presents, traces of the past reveal themselves. When a tragic event repeats itself at the farm, the boundaries between the different time periods begin to blur.
