West Belfast: Naoise and Liam deal with the still-perceptible aftermath of the Northern Ireland conflict, which officially ended in 1998 (a mixture of heroic myths, complicated family relationships, drug trafficking, and social problems), primarily through partying and refusal. Music teacher JJ, of all people, helps Liam save his LSD during a police interrogation. They become friends. In director Rich Peppiatt's fictional band biography, the three, usually always stoned smash almost every gig, become successful hip-hoppers against all odds. They quickly find themselves caught between all fronts: police, politicians, ex-combatants, and paramilitaries...
