West Belfast: Naoise and Liam deal with the still-perceptible aftermath of the Northern Ireland conflict, which officially ended in 1998 (a mixture of heroic myths, complicated family relationships, drug trafficking, and social problems), primarily through partying and refusal. Music teacher JJ, of all people, helps Liam save his LSD during a police interrogation. They become friends.
