Following a failed robbery, 21-year-old Heraldo finds refuge at the Motel Destino, a neon sex hotel on the North-Brazilian coast. The hotel is run by a gruff character called Elias and his wife Dayana. Frustrated by her violent marriage and enthralled by the attractive guest, Dayana begins an affair with Heraldo. In the risky and highly sensuous game that ensues the desire for freedom becomes ever more urgent.
