Tom (Sam Riley), a former professional tennis player, works as a trainer at an all-inclusive hotel on Fuerteventura. Week in, week out, as the tourists come and go, he puts in his hours and fills his time off the court with superficial flings and alcohol. When the mysterious Anne (Stacy Martin), her husband Dave and their seven-year-old son Anton move into the hotel, Tom soon takes to the unusual guests. Yet following a row with this wife, Dave suddenly disappears without a trace.
